Isabel Albuerne, "The Event Lady" is the owner of The Event Lady Store.

Isabel began her South Florida Event Planner and Wedding Consultant career in 1985. The Event Lady initiated in the special event industry with her first Miami based company, a brick and mortar business location in Miami called “The Wedding and Party Corner, Inc.” This was mainly a retail invitation and accessories boutique.
As years progressed, she planned hundreds of elegant weddings, and produced several bridal shows with her husband Carlos, who has always been by her side. Isabel also coordinated and emceed many beautiful quince celebrations on the East Coast in Miami, Florida. These were the experience building years.
In 2002 she brought her expertise and creativity to the West Coast of Florida, where she reorganized her company in Naples, under the name Florida Weddings and Special Events, Inc. Once more she dedicated herself to the planning of romantic sunset beach weddings and splendid sweet fifteen celebrations, adding quinceañera party theme decor and rentals to her service repertoire.
In 2005, “The Event Lady” decided to share her knowledge with brides and quinceañeras in Florida by launching the first, bilingual quince and bridal print magazine of SW Florida's Naples-Fort Myers area - Florida Weddings and Special Events Magazine. This publication was exclusively designed for the diverse niche market of these communities. A wedding and quince resource-directory guide, which offered valuable information and beautiful ideas. The magazine printed quarterly from 2006 to 2009; a total of ten issues, these past issues can be read on the internet on the Scribd website.
In 2009 she continued her editing job, by writing and publishing to her bridal and quince blogs on the web, sharing valuable information on social media, contributing resources to the party industry consumer.
2010 marked the beginning of a new venture, Miss Florida Quince Pageant and Expo, in association with Somos Magazine, another Florida Hispanic owned publication at the time. A total of two pageants were successfully produced, one in Fort Myers, and the second pageant, in beautiful St. Augustine, at The Casa Monica Boutique Hotel.

The Event Lady retired from active event planning in 2012 due to health reasons, but the special event industry remained her passion and drive always, so she occasionally officiated romantic Florida weddings in the following years, till her complete retirement in 2019.
In 2021, she proudly developed an online store for wedding accessories and quinceañera items. The time was ripe for E-Commerce, online shopping being a favorite with consumers. She now works solely online, always adding great products to her store, offering a fine collection of tiaras and bridal fashion jewelry, guest book alternatives, favors, plus 100’s of other items for special occasions.
